Jeep Parts Retailer Launches New Navigation about E-Commerce Site

Columbiana, Ohio (PRWEB) December 20, 2011

4Wheel Drive Hardware, the nations largest mail order and Internet distributor of Jeep parts and accessories, has updated the navigation on its e-commerce site, 4WD.com, to make it easier for Jeep owners to find the parts and accessories they need. The new navigation system features a large drop-down menu that segments thousands of products into about 20 categories. Top-level product categories include replacement parts, bumpers, drivetrain products, lift kits, and exterior parts.

Automotive e-commerce sites often prompt users to specify a vehicle type before showing certain application-specific products. 4WD.com has streamlined this process by implementing one-click selection for the most popular Jeep models. These models include Jeep Wranglers, CJs, vintage Jeeps, and select Cherokees. Users also have the option of selecting year, make, and model from drop-down lists.

A robust, on-site search engine provides another means of finding Jeep parts and accessories. Jeep owners can search by product name, category, or even part number. An auto-fill feature in the search box presents options that adjust as the user types additional characters.

Other options on 4WD.coms main navigation bar include Shop by Brand and Shop Special Deals.

4Wheel Drive Hardware serves Jeep owners and enthusiasts with an industry-leading selection of Jeep accessories, including hard-to-find replacement parts and hardware. Jeep enthusiasts can shop Jeep parts at the 4Wheel Drive Hardware showroom in Columbiana, Ohio or at 4WD.com. The retailer also supports its customers with a call center and a printed catalog.

4Wheel Drive Hardware stays involved in the Jeep community through events, promotions, and social media activity on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Jeepers can learn about upcoming events and promotions on these social media sites or by visiting 4WD.com.

About 4Wheel Drive Hardware: 4Wheel Drive Hardware has been a leading provider of Jeep tops, Jeep fender flares, Wrangler tires, Jeep lift kits, Wrangler parts, and other Jeep parts and accessories for more than 30 years. 4WD.com has the parts and products needed for any personal Jeep project. i do mostly mail-order catalogs (when I’m not out of the house shopping) and I mostly shop a Bud-K Co., a sword/knife kind of store. I have always had a fancy with swords, so I decided to start a collection.

Veterans Day 2011 — 11th Annual “Honor & Thanks” Campaign at VetFriends.com — Honoring U.S. Veteran & Military Heroes Nationwide

Veterans Day 2011 — 11th Annual “Honor & Thanks” Campaign at VetFriends.com — Honoring U.S. Veteran & Military Heroes Nationwide

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) November 04, 2011

Carrying the spirit, respect and tradition of honoring veterans, VetFriends.com — the largest web site for reuniting U.S. veterans — has initiated its 11th annual “Honor & Thanks” Veterans Day campaign in support of U.S. veterans, active and reserve military personnel of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. The site features a new Military Ribbons/Awards page creator tool, a Veterans Day Parade directory, a ‘Thank You’ forum, veteran job boards and more.

Veterans wear their medals and ribbons with pride on Veterans Day, as they take part in parades, events and ceremonies nationwide. The new VetFriends.com Military Ribbons/Awards page creator tool allows veterans to display their decorations in a new and unique way. Veterans can select their military ribbons and awards online in order of rank – to then be displayed on a personal awards page with information showing: date awarded; location; service friends present; military stories and more. Veterans are invited to create a free profile at: https://www.vetfriends.com/new_member/index.cfm, where branch and unit awards can be selected. Each decoration is displayed according to precedence, and military medals are posted in accordance with each ribbon. Military awards are shown in full color and allow veterans to display their decorations in a new way – to be shared with family, friends and loved ones online at VetFriends.com.

A Veterans Day nationwide parade/event directory can be viewed at http://www.vetfriends.com/parades. Visitors are invited to submit and register community parades and events celebrating Veterans Day. All listings will be posted on VetFriends.com for over 170,000 visitors per month to view, and circulated through a member newsletter reaching an additional 80,000 people nationwide.

A Veterans Day forum has been developed on the web site at http://www.vetfriends.com/veteransday reaching out to veterans and anyone else interested in contributing their thoughts and insights in regard to Veterans Day, or to give a message of thanks to veterans. These submissions will be posted online in a Veterans Day collection and will be distributed to the media. Veterans Day newsletters, press releases and tribute videos will also be posted, published and e-mailed all in support of U.S. veterans.

Through Veterans Day and the holidays, VetFriends will be taking up to 60% off all Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard pride items to show their support, thanks and appreciation of all veterans and military service men and women. Moreover, visitors are invited to utilize coupon code: H7 for an additional 15% off all U.S. military caps, shirts, collectibles, patches, stickers and many other pride items online at http://www.vetfriends.com/catalog.

The Military and Veteran Job Network at VetFriends offers a nationwide online database of open job positions at: http://jobs.vetfriends.com – to help veterans in search of employment and career opportunities. U.S. veteran and military men and women are the foundation of what has made America the symbol of freedom and opportunity that it is today. Visitors can search through 5 million job postings to find and apply to open positions. This addition to VetFriends.com provides an easy way for veteran and military heroes, along with their family and friends to search and apply to recent job openings both locally and nationwide. Companies can now give back and post their job openings for the VetFriends veteran community of over 1 million veterans.

VetFriends.com offers additional services such as: search over 1,200,000 members to make contact with old service friends and relatives; information on how to obtain your own or a relative’s military records and medals; search over 10,000 military units to reconnect; message boards; upload past and present photos; military jokes; search and post reunions, military pride merchandise and more.

This year, with the approach of Veterans Day, VetFriends.com encourages the community to celebrate, support and give thanks to all U.S. veterans and active military soldiers nationwide.

Founded in 2000 by an U.S. veteran, thousands of people have been reconnected through VetFriends.com, spanning from World War II through to Operation Desert Storm and the present. VetFriends.com has a current member count of over 1,200,000 people with 170,000 visitors per month to the site. Please visit http://www.vetfriends.com for more information.
