Lockton Re has announced the appointment of Jaideep (Jay) Sharma as regional head of specialties for Lockton Asia. Sharma will relocate from New York to Singapore and report to Asia CEO Tony Hardy in his new role.
Sharma's career began at Marsh Aviation, where he managed aviation clients in the US and London. He's also held senior leadership roles, such as CEO of Marsh's operations in Saudi Arabia. Sharma also served as Aon's market leader for Connecticut, as well as different executive roles at WTW.
Jay's expertise spans specialties, facultative reinsurance, and talent development. This appointment reflects Lockton's focus investment strategy and hopes to drive innovation in Lockton Asia. Sharma will join the Singapore office on March 17.
