MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited has introduced its 2025 global brand campaign, “Protect Your Journey with MSIG,” as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its market presence and customer engagement.
The campaign highlights the company’s range of general insurance products, reinforcing its focus on coverage for travel, home, motor, domestic helper, personal accident, and healthcare insurance.
As part of the campaign, MSIG has released two brand videos incorporating Japanese-themed animation, reflecting its connection to parent company MS&AD Insurance Group.
The campaign aims to communicate MSIG’s service approach and commitment to policyholders in Hong Kong and beyond.
“This campaign features two brand videos, one for individuals and the other for families, showcasing our commitment to providing extraordinary service with diverse insurance products for our customers throughout their journey,” the company said in a statement.
The initiative follows MSIG Hong Kong’s 2024 branding campaign, which featured three promotional videos illustrating real-life insurance scenarios.
The 2024 campaign included appearances by key opinion leaders such as YouTuber Tat Gor, model Eunice Yip, and digital strategist Tim Fung.
The videos depicted MSIG employees assisting customers with claims related to medical emergencies, property damage, and travel disruptions.
“The launch of this new initiative is an important milestone for the company as we embark on our first large-scale effort to reach out to all members of the public in Hong Kong through an above-the-line campaign,” said MSIG Insurance (Hong Kong) Limited CEO Philip Kent.
In addition to its branding efforts, MSIG Asia announced a long-term growth strategy through 2029, focusing on digital transformation and expansion into emerging markets.
The company, a key division of MS&AD Insurance Group’s international operations, reported that its Asian business accounted for 35% of MS&AD’s international adjusted profits in 2023.
MSIG Asia’s strategy includes investments in digital insurance platforms, enhanced claims management capabilities, and partnerships to extend its reach in markets with increasing demand for both personal and commercial insurance products.
The latest branding campaign and strategic roadmap reflect MSIG’s broader approach to strengthening its presence in Hong Kong and across the region, leveraging digital solutions and customer engagement to support long-term growth.
