How do I get wrinkles out of a mail order silk shirt that was mailed folded and has creases?

Question by adobeprincess: How do I get wrinkles out of a mail order silk shirt that was mailed folded and has creases?
I got a silk shirt mail order and it was wrapped arond cardboard. I do not want to use the dry cleaners because it is expensive. How do I protect the shirt and get the wrinkiles out. Also where does anyone know of a steamer that you do not lay on clothes? One that is just used in the air? Ie not a regular iron. If yes delight provide a link or a name, so I tin find one.K-C I read that one about the dryier with a wet wash cloth and have done it, but these wrinkles are deep. It is a good idea, but this was wrapped around cardboard.Oh I know it has to be a selfsame short time in the dryier like on the order of a minute. I stand there when I do that. I may just wash it and then do that. I just do not really want to wash it because it is delicate. I also know about using a compact wet cloth, but I am not great at ironing.kate and keep I am going to try those ideas they are good. I do not like the dry cleaners because it gets cheaper just to buy a new shirt. I only use them for coats once a year, but that is it.

Seriously, take it to an exsiccate cleaners. I know this sounding like racial profiling, but if you have an asian cleaners around you, take it there. They have been making the majority of the world’s silks for centuries. They really know how to handle that stuff. If all else fails and they ruin it by some odd chance in hell, most places will pay to replace it.

C28′s Christian Gift Store Releases Christmas Mail Order Catalog

C28′s Christian Gift Store Releases Christmas Mail Order Catalog

CORONA, CA (PRWEB) October 31, 2006

Following the lead of other apparel retailers such as Active, C28 has expanded its retail business with its first Christmas mail order catalog highlighting their large selection of unique Christian gifts, apparel, jewelry, and music.

C28′s decision to expand into cataloging was based on a test catalog they released during the back to school shopping season. After releasing their back to school catalog, C28 found that their average order size increased from around $ 60 from normal online shoppers to over $ 80 for catalog shoppers using the website.

C28 Website Administrator Justin Palmer was very surprised by the large increase. “We were pleasantly surprised to see the large increase in the average order amounts from catalog shoppers. It appears to be very effective to offer customers a tangible way to view our products in addition to an online store. People appreciate having something in their hands that allows them to shop anytime and anywhere. In addition, they can easily pass the catalog on to friends or family members.”

While C28 acknowledges there are drawbacks to expanding into the mail order business, they believe the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Palmer continues, “While cataloging has its difficulties such as high cost and difficult to track ROI, we see the end result justifying the difficulties. Our mail order catalog has served to both increase the average order size and bring back inactive customers who weren’t responding to our email promotions anymore.”

About C28:

C28 is a Christian Gift Store and Christian Lifestyle retailer, offering an alternative to the mainstream mall stores. C28 offers a wide variety of products ranging from t-shirts, accessories, and jewelry. C28 recently released an online gift finder that helps suggest Christian gift ideas. The mission at C28 is to share the life changing gospel message of grace, truth and love of Jesus. Currently there are 6 company owned stores in Southern California, 2 franchise stores in Northern California, a future franchise store in Florida, and a fast growing e-commerce website.

Question by EVAN: Anyone know how to start a mail order business?
I desire to learn how to start a mail order business from housing without going through any scams or information that isn’t helpful. Any ideas?

Answer by Stuart
Hi, the main problem with mail order is the costs and finding a reliable list that gets updated monthly. I’ve dug bass to try my own mail order campaign and I have had some success some failures. Overall it is a good idea to have a business that you can run offline that brings in money when you have a winning product. There is a blog that I read not to hanker ago that I think you should take a look at here:http://howtostartamailorderbusiness.blogspot.com/One of the things that I hate about marketing on the internet is the fact that you are competing with alot of people out there which can be a real challenge when just starting retired. And having a hard product instead of a digital product has its own pro’s and con’s. But trust me on this one you will spend the same amount of money trying to create a product online and offline so it is all about you personal taste. As far as scams you want to make surely that someone has actually been successful with a particular method that someone is promoting or selling to you. I hope you find this information helpful.
